Bumbré, Cal 28, Exterior

Many people may have never been on a sailboat before, and the ones who have almost always like to inspect other peoples' boats. Here is a simple tour of Bumbré, a Cal 28. She has a rolling furling 140% Genoa, and a main with two reef points. All lines are run to the cockpit for easy handling, and she has wheel steering. Bumbré has three anchors with line and chain rode, a Bruce (our primary anchor), a Delta (secondary), and a Danforth.

Below are pictures of her exterior. Most of these pictures were taken before we purchased her, since then we have installed a bimini, got a new main and Genoa, a dinghy, a BBQ, and other amenities. But basically she looks the same, except she has more stuff hanging off of her and her name has been changed from Santiago to Bumbré. Enjoy...
