Bumbré, Cal 28, Interior
Exterior | Cal 28

Many people may have never been on a sailboat before and the ones who have always like to have a look below at other peoples' boats. Here is a simple tour of Bumbré, a Cal 28. This is before we loaded her up, so she looks a lot more spacious than she is now. Overall, we are please with our "baby boat"--it's cheaper to dock, easy to handle, and actually very roomy for a boat her size. She has treated us well and most of the time feels plenty big enough.

Below are pictures of her interior. Bumbré has an L-shaped galley in front of a double quarter berth. Her head (bathroom) has a hand shower so you could shower while sitting on the pot. Two can sleep on the settees in the main salon (the couches in the living room). And forward is the V-berth (in the bow) where we sleep. So if you wanted to be cozy, you could sleep six, but you would have to really like each other. Enjoy...
